Endgame plans I'm level 50 now what?

Last night I've hit 50 with my Operative. A major milestone. Time to explore the endgame and see what SWTOR has to offer.

I found a nice article about the number 50 at Moon Over Endor, another SWTOR blog: 50! this article has the same date as this one and starts with: "As of yesterday evening I got my (first) character to level 50!". Pretty funny to find this right when I'm about to write about hitting 50 last night.

Time for me to explore the endgame and see how well Bioware made it. Endgame is mostly what MMORPG are about, so a good endgame is a must if SWTOR is going to keep being fun and keep people playing it for months and years to come.

My to do list at this point is pretty long:

1. Train my level 50 abilities and learn to use them well. You get almost all your skills upgraded at this point as well as the incredibly useful combat res.
2. Get my Crew Skills maxed out, I'm not far from it, but I still have some work to do there.
3. Get the mats for my top Crew Skill recipes, I'm a Biochem\Bioanalyst\Diplomat, the reusable stim, health pack and adrenal is something I would love to get asap.
4. Get my top speeder, thankfully I've been pretty frugal with my credits, as well as made couple of nice sells on the GTN, so I can afford it right away.
5. Max out my companions affection, both for the crew skill benefits, but mostly for the companions dialog, quests and plot which I find very interesting.
6. Check out the dailies, I've never been a fan of dailies, the idea of running the same quest over and over again isn't what I consider fun gaming, but it's still something I want to check out.
7. Go to Ilum, I've heard the name so many times, time to see what the fuss is about.
8. Find a good guild to eventually run operations with. My current guild doesn't seem to get there any time soon, in fact we had a bunch of other 50s leaving lately, so more often than not there's no level 50 online at all. My server is pretty low populated, I picked it for this reason to avoid the login queues, I hope I'll still manage to find a raiding (or should I say operating?) guild soon.
9. Check out the heroic flashpoints. There are a bunch and new flashpoints is something I'd love to check out.

I'll keep you posted on how my endgame experience is going and how good or bad I think it is as I progress through it. As many people say about MMORPG: "the game starts at max level". So I'm ready to start playing SWTOR and see how it looks.
